A beautiful summers day was on show for the 36 players for our first game of 2026 held at the ever-improving Coast Golf Club at Little Bay.

The bay itself looked like a postcard from the Mediterranean, with the temperature around 30 degrees and a moderate north easterly breeze.

This course gets better every year and was in exceptional condition for our game.

Welcome to two new members, Josh Moyes and Lance Neeley who both seemed to enjoy themselves and we look forward to seeing them on a regular basis.

The golf scores were not as high as expected, with no one playing to their handicap and the average being in the mid-twenties. With just a little wind this course becomes a real challenge.

The late finish by some did not seem to matter as we all assembled in the club house for a lovely Italian dinner with an excellent view to the ocean, and our first catchup for the new year.

All the above winners will receive their prize vouchers next time you attend due to my onset of memory loss and left them in my office!!!!!
