Construction Industry Networking through Golf Days

Welcome Video

Terrey Hills Golf Day

How it all began …

The Club was formed in 1932 to enable people involved in the building industry and similar professions to socialise through golf.

The name of our Club is interesting. It is drawn from two organisations, the Master Builders Association of NSW and the Builders Exchange of NSW Limited. The Master Builders Association of NSW was formed in 1873 for the benefit of builders and the protection of their interests. The Builders Exchange of NSW Limited was also formed in 1864. Its members were made up of suppliers of products and services to the building and construction industry. So, in naming the Club, the Master Builders & Exchange Golf Club NSW Inc, the founding members wished to send a clear message that membership was intended to extend to not only builders, but also to anybody who had a product or service connected with the building industry.

Today …

In fulfilling its charter, the Club has, over the years, selected the very best of clubs for its members and guests to enjoy.

The Club is a wonderful vehicle for its members and guests to enjoy golf at some of the best golf courses Sydney has to offer. It is about taking a break from the daily grind and enjoying golf at a first class venue and the Club provides a fantastic opportunity to network or to reward employees or customers. It is not all about “doing deals on the golf course”, but there is that element.

Opportunities …

Opportunities abound for businesses to support the Club, reward their good customers and to advertise their products.

Sponsors get a good return on their investment. It is a win-win situation for everybody involved. There is a competition and prizes and all of the feel good things that flow from a well organised golf day at a great venue.
