After weeks of consistent Sydney drizzle, we were very lucky to get a cloudy but dry day for our return to Bankstown Golf Club.

The dams were all full, the greens soft and a little slow and the fairways were heavy with moisture resulting in very little run making the many long par fours play even longer.

The field of 26 players set off to tackle this challenging and very long course with the top 12 players getting past 30 points and only two playing to their handicap, with the average score being around 28 points.

The game was followed by another fabulous Italian banquet prepared by Mario in the kitchen, and a chance to catch up with members new and old.

A very warm welcome to Lance Neely, Jesse Gooch, Josh Moyes and Stephen Burns and we hope you can join us on a regular basis.
