Captain’s Report – Pymble
The Master Builders Golf Club had a great spot of luck with the weather on this beautiful April day especially considering that we are on the verge of the cooler months.
Clear skies, moderate temperature and a gentle southerly wind made for perfect conditions, and a respectable field of 30 golfers were ready for the challenge.
The course itself was presented in immaculate condition but with the greens a little slow due to time of the year. I always enjoy how pretty it is with many lakes and water courses. We had a few groups finish in the dark hopefully we can avoid this next year.
As usual to score well at Pymble you need to keep the ball on the fairway and out of the water, there were plenty of sand bunkers to navigate as well.
